Thivaiki Gi (Theban Land) has been active in the field of vineyards and bottled wine since 2004. On the slopes of Sfinga Mountain, just a few kilometres from Thebes, right outside Vagia village, the exceptionally spruce vineyard ensures grapes of excellent quality for the wines of Thivaiki Gi. In this small but modern winery, wines are produced with passion for perfection.

Honest wine, tended with love… this is what we know and this is what we have been doing since 1960. In the caves of legendary Mount Kithaironas, where the romances of gods used to take place, Dionysus-Bacchus, the God of the fertilizing powers of nature and more specifically of the Wine and the Vineyard, was born by Zeus and Semeli. If this is the case, the thought that good wine was born at the foot of Kithaironas seems to be exact and reinforces our argument, because it is there, on the northern slopes of Kithaironas, at the city of Erythres (Kriekouki) where our winery is located. The old traditional winery of Argyris Ntontos has been converted into a modern winery of high quality wines made with different grape varieties, by Andreas Sokos and Gianna Ntontou- Sokou.
